**The primary purpose of this position is to lead section personnel who perform the full range of material handling, wear housing, supply technician, forklift operating, and motor vehicle operating duties.**

### Responsibilities
* Leads a crew of CEMF personnel assigned to the following occupational series: Materials Handler, WG-6907; Supply Technician, GS-2005; Fork Lift Operator, WG-5704; and Motor Vehicle Operator WG-5703.
* Leads team that provides for the care of CE supplies/equipment in storage applying preservation techniques to protect from deterioration or damage.
* Operates fork lift trucks and automated material handling and identification equipment to include mobile stock selectors and electromechanical automated equipment such as high rise automated storage and retrieval vehicles
* Responsible for effectively leading, organizing and coordinating the CEMF supply, equipment management, and storage operation.
* Performs equipment management and materials handling duties, including the use of tools and other equipment in a safe manner utilizing safety practices and procedures.

JOB ELEMENTS:**Your qualifications will be evaluated on the basis of your level of knowledge, skills, abilities and/or competencies in the following areas:
1. Knowledge of HQ AFRC Civil Engineering (CE) Contingency Equipment Management Facility (CEMF) warehousing methods, procedures, and material handling techniques; and use of warehousing functions such as material receiving, storage, issuing, and preservation.
2. Knowledge of warehouse configurations, storage requirements for particular CE commodities, and storage documentation requirements; and of inventory management/supply procedures.
3. Knowledge of regulations, procedures, and policies related to records maintenance and documentation; and of safety regulations, practices, and procedures.
4. Skill in the use of automated material processing equipment and systems to include fork lifts.
5. Ability to prepare inventory/supply and production reports; and to screen shipping and receiving documents for discrepancies.
6. Ability to interpret and apply instructions pertaining to material handling; and to maintain tools, equipment, and work area in a neat, clean, and orderly manner.
**PHYSICAL EFFORT:**Works on hard surfaces and in work areas that require standing, bending, kneeling, climbing and working in tiring and uncomfortable positions. May lift and carry weights up to 25 pounds. May handle heavier items with weight lifting equipment or assistance from other workers.
**WORKING CONDITIONS:**Work is done inside and outside in areas that may be hot, damp, cold, drafty, or poorly lit. Employee is regularly exposed to the possibility of cuts, scrapes, and bruises, falls from ladders, falling material, or injury from equipment. May be exposed to dust, dirt, grease, solvents, and high noise areas while working in a mechanized work area. May be required to wear protective clothing such as hard hats, steal toed shoes, rubber gloves, mask, and rubber aprons.
**PART-TIME OR UNPAID EXPERIENCE**: Credit will be given for appropriate unpaid and or part-time work. You must clearly identify the duties and responsibilities in each position held and the total number of hours per week.
**VOLUNTEER WORK EXPERIENCE**: Refers to paid and unpaid experience, including volunteer work done through National Service Programs (i.e., Peace Corps, AmeriCorps) and other organizations (e.g., professional; philanthropic; religious; spiritual; community; student and social). Further, under paragraph (h) of the rule, agencies are required to verify a qualifying separation from military service prior to appointment, through the DD214 or other appropriate documentation.
